Some Ohio Farmers Deciding To Not Plant Instead Filing An Insurance Claim

Ohio farmers are so far behind in planting corn and soybeans because of all the rain that some are deciding to not plant and to file an insurance claim instead. The Ohio Farm Bureau's Senior Director of Corporate Communication Joe Cornely says even if farmers were able to get corn planted, this current bout of ongoing rain will have a severe effect on their yield. The last 12 months in Ohio have been the wettest on record.
