Richland County Commissioners To Vote On Criminal Justice Software Program

Richland County commissioners will vote Thursday on a software program that could streamline the local criminal justice system.

RichlandSource.com reports the commissioners heard the proposal last month for Matrix Point Software, which would integrate law enforcement, courts, prosecutors, and defenders into one system and is being used in 40 Ohio counties. The current system being used is 25 years old and is not being updated anymore.
