Body Of Mount Vernon Man Found On Banks Of Kokosing River

The body of a 40 year old Mount Vernon man was found on the banks of the Kokosing River on Friday morning.

The Knox County Sheriff received a 911 call for a possible drowning near Caves Campground, where a 42 year old woman hanging on a tree branch was saved. Dive crews searched until nightfall, but could not locate Booth. The incident remains under investigation.
