Shelby Boys Track Team Wins Division II State Title

The Shelby Boys Track Team won the Division II State Title on Saturday in Columbus. The Whippets finished with 57 points and claimed the schools’ first state title in track and field since 2004. Shelby junior Caleb Brown won the 1,600 and 3,200 meters and was a part of the Whippets 4X800 relay team that came in 1st place.

Galion's Kerrigan Myers won the Division II State Title in the 100 meters. Mapleton's Drew Roberts won the Division 3 State Title in the 3,200 meters. Lexington's Alex Green came in 2nd place in the 100 and 200 meters and Mansfield Senior's Angelo Grose finished 3rd in the long jump.
