Ashland County Officials Gathered To Discuss Senate Bill 3

Ashland County officials gathered Thursday to discuss Senate bill 3, which would reform drug sentencing laws to crack down on drug dealers, but also help people struggling with addition.

RichlandSource.com reports many Ashland officials voiced their concern over the bill, which says a low-level drug possession charge would be a misdemeanor, not a felony and would send the offender to a treatment program, instead of jail.
