Stan Jefferson Named Mansfield City Schools Superintendent

Stan Jefferson is the Mansfield City Schools next superintendent, after the Mansfield Board of Education voted unanimously to hire Jefferson Tuesday night.

Board President Renda Cline said " We are excited to hire such a talented leader who is so familiar with our community. A petition had been going around the district with over 700 signatures, pushing for Jefferson to be the next superintendent. He will take over August 1st.

Jefferson served as football and track coach, along as principal at Senior High, before spending 13 years on the Ohio State football coaching staff. The School Board interviewed 5 candidates for the position.
