The highway patrol is investigating a one vehicle accident in Ashland County that happened on US 42 on Monday afternoon.
The driver, 59 year old Laura Shaffer of Medina, was trapped inside her vehicle for over a half hour, after it went off the road, over turned several times and landed in a field. The Jaws of Life were needed to extract her from the vehicle. She was taken to Akron hospital with non- life threatening injuries.
