Aaron Harris is the Vice President and a managing partner of Bill Harris Auto Center (Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac), Bill Harris Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram of Ashland and Ashland Laser Wash. Aaron is an Ashland native and third generation auto dealer. Aaron is a 2016 graduate of Leadership Ashland and a graduate of Disney’s, Disney Institute Leadership Development program. Aaron’s grandfather Bill Harris founded Bill Harris Chevrolet in 1981 after retiring from the United States Marine Corps. The Bill Harris Dealerships employ 55 full time team members and 5 regular part time team members. Bill Harris Dealerships sells 7 new car franchise brands and they sell and service all makes pre-owned. The Bill Harris Dealerships were founded on a set of Core Values that they still operate from today.
Aaron had always desired to work in the dealerships for as long as he can remember and he spent much of his youth at the stores. Aaron officially began working for the company at 14 years of age, washing cars over breaks from school. When old enough to drive Aaron worked in the parts department, delivering parts, stocking shelves, cleaning and anything else needed. Aaron sold his first new car during Spring break of his senior year in high school and knew he would never want to do anything but work in the dealerships. Aaron now shoulders the role of Dealer Operator/ Vice President and shares responsibilities of leading the operations with his father Scott and brother David. Aaron enjoys being able to make a difference in the lives of the Bill Harris Auto team members and community with programs such as Bill Harris Dealership’s Keys 4 Needs. Aaron feels humbled to be able to lead the team at Bill Harris and finds great satisfaction in seeing individuals grow personally and professionally.
Aaron resides in Ashland with his wife Kait, and daughter Nora. Aaron enjoys spending his free time with family, traveling and tending to his animals and property.
