Fire Tuesday Afternoon Tucker Brothers Auto Wrecking

A fire broke out Tuesday afternoon at Tucker Brothers Auto Wrecking on Hickory lane in Mansfield.

A man who lives nearby told RichlandSource.com, the blaze started around 2 pm as he heard a loud popping sound and then saw flames.

The cause of the fire was when an employee said a trickle of fire shot across the floor and possibly hit some gasoline, while vehicles were being taken apart. No employees were injured, as dozens of firefighters from 4 departments battled the blaze.
