Mansfield Demolition On Hold of Because Historic Connection

A demolition in Mansfield has been put on hold because the structure has a historic connection.

RichlandSource.com reports a house located at 171 West 4th street was set to be demolished, but the house was once home to Jacob Laird, who was an engineer in Mansfield in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.Laid is consider by some a pioneer Resident of Richland County.

The home, which was foreclosed on in 2015, still could be demolished, but the Land Bank is looking into the matter.
