Possible Financial Assistance for Those Affected by Shelby Tornado
The Richland County Commissioners met with officials Tuesday to talk about possible state financial assistance for those affected by the Shelby Tornado. RichlandSource.com reports EMA Director, Rick Evans, said two requirements are 25 or more structures must be damaged and 40% of the damage is uninsured.
RichlandSource.com reports Job and Family Services Director, Sharlene Neumann, said she spoke with state JFS officials to ask Governor Mike DeWine, if he would declare it a disaster to free up some money.Commissioner Marilyn John said Rocket Chevrolet in Shelby will have damage in the millions.
