Longtime Ontario School board member Sam VanCura was honored by the Ohio School Boards Association. VanCura was recognized for his 20 years of service at a conference in Columbus last month. Ontario Schools Superintendent Lisa Carmichael said, “Sam is a dedicated board member, who is a true champion for children. Carmichael went on to say “VanCura cares deeply for our school district and our students.”
