The City of Mansfield has received $52,618 from the Ohio Office Criminal Justice Services, which will go toward METRICH operations. This grant helps combat illegal drug activity in the region. The city does have to put in a matching portion of $17,539, which was already in the budget for 2019. The Metrich Drug Task Force covers 10 counties, which includes Richland, Ashland and Crawford Counties.
