Mansfield Detective Says Man Told Him“Music Spoke to Him, Told Him to Kill”

A Mansfield Police Detective testified Thursday, 31 year old Cody Lutz, who is charged with aggravated murder in the death of a 90 year old Mansfield man, told him that music spoke to him and told him to kill.

Mansfield Detective, Dave Scheurer, said in court, Lutz stabbed 90 year old Omar Brown to death with a piece of a broken wooden rod on March 18th. The incident took place at Brown’s apartment on Middle-Bellville Road, where Lutz had a key. RichlandSource.com reports its unknown why Lutz had a key, but Scheurer said Lutz drove there with the intention of killing Brown.
