Ashland Drug Arrest

An Ashland man is facing drug related charges after Ashland Police executed a search warrant on his E. 3rd Street apartment.

Devin Hayes (age 21) of Ashland was arrested on March 19, 2019, after Ashland Police Detectives assigned to the METRICH Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at his home and recovered more than two pounds of marijuana, several suspected marijuana brownies, suspected MDMA (MOLLY), suspected cocaine, suspected THC Dabs, several suspected THC oil cartridges, and other evidence of drug trafficking. The estimated street value of the suspected high grade marijuana, THC cartridges and MDMA, was over $16,000.

The suspected THC oil cartridges had colorful designs and came in fruity flavors. This has been found to be appealing to younger customers. The oil can be smoked through a vape pen.

Hayes was charged with an F-3 Possession of Marijuana. The case will be forwarded to the Ashland Count Prosecutor’s Office for review regarding further charges.
