Akron Children’s Health Center to open in Mansfield

The new Akron Children’s Health Center is set to open later this month in Mansfield. RichlandSource.com reports the new 32,000 square foot facility has a total cost of around $12.2 million and is expected to open on March 26th.The Akron Children’s hospital building is located on Trimble road near the VA clinic. The project took over two years to plan and has been in construction since last year. The public is invited to an open house on March 23rd, from 9 am – 12 noon.
