Further Information on Termination of Richland County Dog Warden

Richland County Dog Warden Dave Jordan was let go last month after he reportedly tried to discipline an employee that had just filed for workman’s compensation. RichlandSource.com reports this was the latest in several issues with the former Dog Warden, which included the unauthorized firing of an employee 4 years ago that wound up in a federal lawsuit, which the Richland County Commissioners settled out of court for $150,000.

Jordan, who is a US Army veteran and spent time with the Lexington Police Department, had been the Richland County Dog Warden since 2004.
