A driver was seriously injured during a Monday morning crash in Ashland County on U.S. 30. RichlandSource.com reports the accident took place near the intersection of US 30 and County Road 30A. The driver of the car was seriously injured has not been identified yet and was taken to Ohio Health hospital in Mansfield. The driver failed to yield the right of way following a stop sign and was struck by a Semi coming westbound on US 30. The driver of the semi was not injured in the crash. One of the westbound lanes of US 30 was closed for about 90 minutes for clean-up.
