Mansfield Police Aide to retire after 30 years with department

Mansfield Police Aide Nettie Ballard is set to retire next week, after spending 30 years with the department. Ballard was hired on February 25th, 1989 to work for the City Jail, later becoming a Correction Officer in 1994. Nettie Ballard was assigned to an administration position in 2008 and helped run the daily operation of the department. Ballard will officially retire next Thursday, February 28th.
