Clear Fork Students Raising Money to Benefit Shelby Student
Clear Fork students are raising money to help benefit a Shelby student, who spent 53 days in the hospital dealing with a life threatening infection.
RichlandSource.com reports two Clear Fork students got an idea for a prom dress resale event, which will give the proceeds to the family of 17 year old Lindsey Gies, who had to have a double leg amputation below the knee after being admitted to a Columbus hospital with an infection back December. The event, Prom Dress Extravaganza, will take place, March 2nd, 11 am - 3 pm, at Clear Fork High School. .Anyone who wants to donate a prom dress or formal wear, can drop it off at Shelby or Clear Fork High School.
The Shelby community has come together and raised over $10,000 for the Gies Family.
