Richland County Commissioners New Budgeting Template

The Richland County Commissioners are set to talk about a new budgeting template at their meeting on Thursday. RichlandSource.com reports the new format will go into use in May when various county entities submit budget requests.The new layout will have 4 main parts: a line item sheet for revenue, line item sheet for expenses, a summary sheet and personnel costs for employees, salaries, hourly rates and pay increases.

Commissioner Marilyn John said, “If I were a department head, I would appreciate having something that I can just fill in numbers.”
