Mansfield Police looking into possible felonious assault

Mansfield Police are looking into what could possibly be felonious assault, after a man was taken to the hospital earlier this week and pronounced brain dead. RichlandSource.com reports, 42 year old Brian Ewers remained on life support on Thursday while organ donation was completed.Richland County Coroner Investigator Tom Stortz feels Ewers could have possibly suffered a head injury that led to a brain bleed.Mansfield Police will continue to investigate as they await results from the autopsy report.
