Madison teachers began a soft strike or “Work to Rule” this week, due to their contract disagreement. RichlandSource.com reports,“Work to Rule” is when union members only work to what their contract mandates.One of the teachers said rarely do you see a teacher come in at 8 am and leave right when the school day is over.Many come in early, stay late and even come in on the weekends. Negotiations got under way last spring but so far the sides have not come to an agreement.
