The May primary has another name on the ballot, as Alomar Davenport announced he will run for Mansfield City Council. RichlandSource.com reports,Davenport will run for City Council in the 4th Ward, where he grew up. Davenport moved back to Mansfield’s 4th Ward last summer after spending the last 15 years in New York. Alomar Davenport is a sales analyst and feels there is a disconnect between current leadership and the people of the community.
