The Springfield Township Fire Department has recently received grants totaling nearly $61,000. RichlandSource.com reports six grants from 2018 will make up the $60,778 and just over $40,000 comes from a Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation Safety Grant. The Springfield Township Fire Department was able to buy a Stryker Powerload System, which can lift up to 700 pounds, with the grant money, plus other equipment.
