Warming Shelter set up in downtown Mansfield

A warming shelter has been set up in Richland County at 47 South Main Street in downtown Mansfield, which is the Salvation Army building.The shelter will be open 6 pm to 6 am each day through Friday, due to the dangerously cold temperatures that could reach -40 with the wind chill.

Richland County Emergency Management Interim Director Rick Evans told RichlandSource.com, “it’s a place people can come in and warm up if they don’t have heat. Richland County and most of the state of Ohio is under a Wind Chill Warning until late Thursday afternoon.
