The Mansfield Police Department is set to add another officer to its force, when it holds a swearing in ceremony on Friday. Mansfield Police Chief Ken Coontz said, Evan Hout will report for training at the Ohio State Patrol Academy on Feb. 4 th and become the Mansfield Police Department’s 82nd officer. The swearing in ceremony on Friday will be held at 10 am inside of the Hutchison Classroom, which is located on the first floor of the Mansfield Police Department.
