Richland County Domestic Violence Shelter Possible Layoffs Due to Shutdown

The Richland County Domestic Violence Shelter could be looking at some possible layoffs due to the government shutdown. RichlandSource.com reports, the largest amount of money the Shelter receives from the government, comes from the department of Justice, which is closed due to the shutdown.  The Richland County Domestic Violence Shelter is getting some funds from the attorney general, but it’s not enough to keep them going.  The Shelter has 26 employees and could have to cut that number in half to keep the Shelter in operation.
