Ashland University's Kates Gymnasium will be the venue for a February visit from The Original Harlem Globetrotters.
The Globetrotters will come to campus on Monday, February 4th at 7:00 p.m. as part of their Fan Powered World Tour. Doors will open that night at 6:00 p.m.
For the past 92 years, the Harlem Globetrotters have embodied a special blend of basketball and entertainment which has made the team iconic, entertaining crowds around the globe. The dribbling, the dunking and the shooting — including 4-point shots — will all be on full display during the tour.
Prior to every performance, fans can secure an additional $18 ticket to Magic Pass, the Globetrotters’ exclusive pregame event. Magic Pass gives fans access to the stars of the team, an opportunity to learn tricks, shoot hoops and take pictures on the court. After each game, fans can participate in a free autograph session.
Also back by popular demand, fans also will get a chance to see the Flying Globies, an acrobatic trampoline dunk team that will defy gravity during breaks in the game action.
Tickets start at $27 and are available at harlemglobetrotters.com, ticketweb.com and the Kates Gymnasium box office. For more information, visit harlemglobetrotters.com.
