Mansfield City Council has approved its first demolition for 2019 and it is located at 177 North Benton. Councilman Cliff Mears says Mansfield hopes to take down 100 dilapidated structures this year, after taking down 135 in 2018. Back in 2017, the City of Mansfield approved 147 demolitions, which Mears says is the continuing effort to clean up the city and take care of these blighted properties.
