11 Deaths on Ohio Roads over New Years’ Holiday

The highway patrol says that 11 deaths took place on Ohio roads over the New Years’ holiday, which ran from December 28th – January 1st.  Four of the crashes were OVI related and six were the result of not wearing a seatbelt.   RichlandSource.com reports last year there were 5 fewer deaths on Ohio roadways over the New Years’ holiday with 6 fatalities.  Overall 2018 saw a 10 percent decrease in deaths on Ohio roads compared to 2017.
