The City of Mansfield recently received a donation for $8,000 to purchase a k9 dog for the Police Department. Councilman Cliff Mears told WMAN News the money was donated anonymously and the city wants to say, Thank you for the donation. Elks Lodge 56 also donated $1,000 to the K9 Donation fund and another $1,000 for Fire and Prevention education materials.
