Mansfield Police Officer Turns in Resignation

A Mansfield Police Officer placed on paid administrative leave back in October turned in his resignation this week.  October 6th, Officer Zachary Miller, was placed on paid administrative leave for alleged misconduct that occurred while off duty. RichlandSource.com reports that the Richland Prosecutors office will not be filing charges in the incident. The exact details of Miller’s misconduct are not known, but Mansfield Police say it violated the department’s ethics and the city of Mansfield’s policies.  Zachary Miller was sworn in with the Mansfield Police Department in January of 2016.
