The Mansfield Police Department delivered an early Christmas present to the department’s youth director on Tuesday in the form of a new van. RichlandSource.com reports, the 2016 van replaces a 20 year old van that is used for the Police Athletic League, to help prevent juvenile crime by developing positive attitudes towards Police Officers. The money for the van became available, after the Mansfield Police Department received a grant for new SWAT vests.
