Crestline Police Chief Announces Resignation

Crestline Police Chief Joe Butler announced his resignation on Monday. The news comes after Butler was placed on administrative leave back in August, when the Crawford County Prosecutor Office launched an investigation into the Crestline Police department.

RichlandSource.com reports, Butler released a video back in October that showed Crestline mayor, Allen Moore, using a racial slur. Moore officially resigned late last month. Butler in his press release stated, he found his work environment so hostile, he filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The complaint was alleging Title XII retaliation from former Crestline mayor, Allen Moore.
