Former School in Ashland to Become Apartments

The former Arthur Street School in Ashland has been sold by the Ashland School District for $10,000 to Coffy Properties. The owner plans to renovate the school building into Loft Style Apartments. RichlandSource.com reports, the building was built back in 1907 and was used as a school until 1981 and since, has been used for administrative offices.
