The Ashland School board heard some good news about the district’s 5 year forecast this week. RichlandSource.com reports, treasurer Sue Guthrie says Ashland Schools will be left with about $7 million at the end of 2023, despite spending more money that it brings in during 4 of the next 5 years. The district has spent money on several projects, including remodeling at Taft Intermediate School, the renovation of Community stadium and work is underway on the new Ashland High School fieldhouse, which is hoping to be complete by August of 2019.
