Shelby Schools on Ballot Next Week

Shelby schools are on the fall ballot next week for a new Pre K through 8th grade building only, after voters twice turned down the issue, which included a new football stadium.  The 37 year old bond issue is 2.8 mill and would cost Shelby Voters $10.2 million or $8.17 per month. RichlandSource.com reports, Shelby school officials plan to use revenue from the Rover pipeline to help toward the bond issue. The Rover pipeline runs through the school district and the board expects to start receiving money in 2019.
