The city of Ontario has a road repair tax on the November 6th ballot. RichlandSource.com reports the .25% tax could generate between $500,000 to $600,000 per year for street resurfacing. The city recently has discussed plans to repave Lexington-Springmill road, which will take up the street funds for the next couple of years. If passed, the tax would go into effect January 1st, 2019.
