Possible Laced or Tainted Halloween Candy in Galion

The Galion boy believed to possibly have received laced or tainted Halloween candy over the weekend has been released from the hospital, according to Galion Police Chief Brian Saterfield. RichlandSource.com reports the child fell over after getting home on Sunday from Trick or Treating on the West side of Galion. The Police report shows the boy did have methamphetamine in his system, but it’s not known if it was in candy or if the methamphetamine was illegal. No other reports of anyone else becoming sick from candy has been reported to Police.
