Ashland University to Host Debate for U.S. House 7th District Seat

Ashland University will host the debate for the U.S. House 7th District seat between the Incumbent, Republican Congressman Bob Gibbs and the challenger, democrat Ken Harbaugh.

The Gibbs-Harbaugh debate will be held Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. in Myers Convocation Center on the Ashland University campus.

Anyone interested in attending the event are asked to contact the individual campaigns for the free tickets. The Gibbs campaign can be contacted for tickets at -- Info@bobgibbsforcongress.com, while those wanting tickets from the Harbaugh campaign can reach out to Sara at --s.haas@kenharbaughforcongress.com.

Those attending the event will not be allowed to bring signs into the venue, primarily so no one’s view is obstructed during the event. Campaign badges, stickers, etc. are welcome.

A Google form has been created that will allow the public to submit questions. The moderators will utilize some of these submissions when they prepare their questions for the two candidates. The URL for the form is -- http://ashbrook.org/debate-questions/.
