Ontario officials met this week during an economic development meeting to discuss the future of the GM Plant property. RichlandSource.com reports that three companies have already shown interest in leasing at the former GM site. One of the companies could bring 15 to 20 jobs, mayor Randy Hutchinson said the property must be cleaned up first. Ontario City Council is looking to official acquire the 267 acre site from the Ontario Business Park by the end of 2018.
