Two men were taken to the hospital after an incident that took place in the early morning hours of Wednesday on Possum Run road in Mansfield. The Richland County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to Spruce Hill Cottages for a complaint of shots fired and a possible assault. 18 year old Jamar Crutcher and 27 year old Aaron Powell were taken to the hospital for their injuries. Crutcher was found in parking lot with a cut to his forehead. Witnesses say they saw a silver car leave the property and heard yelling outside. A bullet hole was found in the siding outside one of the rooms. The Richland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
