Trial got underway Tuesday for an Ashland man, who is accused of aggravated vehicular homicide. RichlandSource.com reports, 50 year old Raymond Stafford is accused of reckless driving in the death of 37 year old Ernest Whitesel of Sullivan in November of 2016. Reports from the Highay Patrol say, both drivers were northbound on Ohio 58, when Stafford attempted to pass Whitesel and ended up colliding. Whitesel was taken to Akron hospital and pronounced dead. Reports say both cars were going over 72 miles per hour.
