The Ashland County Land Bank has decided to move on without a director for the time being. RichlandSource.com reports, Board members Wednesday came to an agreement to stop employing Hal Sheaffer, who had been in the role without a contract for the last four months. Sheaffer was said to have done a good job, but financial reasons was why the board chose to vacate the role. Sheaffer was being paid about $1,000 a month.
