Madison Students Protest against Superintendent

A group of 200 Madison students walked out of class just after school began on Wednesday in protest against Superintendent Shelley Hilderbrand. RichlandSource.com reports, several students say they had to serve detention, after speaking out against Hilderbrand on social media.  The students protested due to the changes the Superintendent has been trying to implement. Hilderbrand recommended a popular teacher not have their contract renewed recently and has been questioned by parents about the STEM curriculum becoming mandatory in the district.
