The man hunt for fugitive Shawn Christy continues, as authorities still believe he is in Richland County. RichlandSource.com in an interview with Craig Christy, who is the father of the fugitive, reports he is asking his son to turn himself in to the authorities. Craig Christy said ”it’s time to surrender and work this out.” Christy is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service, F.B.I., Secret Service and numerous local authorities for threatening the president and other local officials, burglary and probation violation.
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward cash award of up to $20,000 for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Shawn Christy.
Christy, 27, is a white male, standing approximately 5 feet10 inches and weighing 150 pounds. Christy should be considered armed and dangerous. Citizens in the Mansfield area should use caution. Homes and cars should remain locked.
