Ontario City Council Passes Concession Stands Legislation

Ontario City Council Wednesday passed legislation to allow concession stands to operate in one location for 180 days per year. RichlandSource.com reports, the legislation first introduced would only have allowed a concession stand to be in one location for 30 days before having to move to a new location.  That could have forced “The King of Bar –B -Que Ribs out of business, who has been operating in Ontario since the early 90’s. The man has had his stand set up in the Lowe’s parking lot for the last 5 years. This idea was brought to the attention of city council because there is no legislation on concession stands in Ontario.
