Talks Continue Ashland About County Dispatch Center

An Ashland Police officer recently spoke to the Ashland County Commissioners about his concerns over rejoining the Ashland County 9-1-1 dispatch Center. RichlandSource.com reports, officer Aaron Kline feels things can’t go back to the way they were before and the Commissioners should meet with local police and fire officials, who use the dispatch Center each day. Kline felt that when the Sheriff’s Office was over seeing things that the police and fire complaints were not being addressed. Kline wants to see the dispatch back in Ashland, but wants it to be right. Right now, Ashland is Part of the Wooster, Ashland Regional Dispatch Center and so calls are taken out of the area.
