Pleasant Hill Lake Park Programs for this weekend are:
Thursday, August 23rd from 6:30-8:00pm - Stand Up Paddle Board Sunset Tours- Join Aloha SUP for 90-Minute Sunset Paddle Board Tour. Includes Paddle Board Rental,15-Minute On-Land, Balance Fundamentals and Safety, 75-Minutes on water boarding. Inflatable Waist Belt PFD or Life Jacket, Ankle Leash. All instructions provided by Aloha SUP experienced Certified Paddle Board Instructors. $25/ person, must Call (614) 655-3504 for reservations and questions.
Friday, August 24th from 6:00-9:00pm – Nature Room Open- Stop by and see what’s new at the nature break room, animals and games.
from 9:00pm-10:00pm- Night Hike- Who’s afraid of the dark? Find out what those sounds and smells are in the night, using your senses to feel, touch and hear the night come alive.
Saturday, August 25th from 10a-12:00p - Mermaid Kids Swim- Come and spend the day at the Pleasant Hill Mermaid and Pirate Kids Day with Mermaid Tami. Visit the Mermaid Grotto for some mermaid treasure, take photos with Mermaid Tami and end the afternoon with a mermaid swim!
from 1:00-4:00pm - FREE Kayaking- This is your chance to try out a variety of different Pelican Brand kayaks. We have Double, Single, Sit-on and Sit-in style kayaks for anyone to try. Children under 18 must have an adult present and Sign Waiver form. Limited kayaks and equipment and limited time allotted based on demand and numbers. Each person will receive a brief safety orientation, sized with life jacket, proper paddle and kayak for your size, weight and use.
from 4:00pm-6:00pm - Log Rolling – Test your Lumber Jack or Jill skills. Great fun and learn a new skill. At the Beach.
from 8:30pm-10:30pm - Saturday Night at the Movies. Enjoy a family-friendly movie on the BIG screen TV with surround sound inside the welcome center. FREE popcorn for everyone.
Sunday, August 26th from 9:00am-11:00am - Nature Break Room- Naturalist will be available to meet and greet with live animals. Borrow a fishing pole or binoculars to explore the park.
from 9:00pm-11pm - Moonlight Kayaking Tour- Enjoy a kayak tour of Pleasant Hill Lake by the light of the full moon! Bring your own equipment or borrow ours. Boat, paddle, life jacket, and light provided. Waivers are required for all participants. Meet at the beach. $25 per participant includes gate fee, instruction, and equipment! $15 with own equipment. We provide light. Pre-registration is required. Must be 12 years-old.
